This beautiful summer wedding was so bright, fun and exciting!  Rachel, Chris and their sweet families were amazing to work with ~

We added beautiful color to 701 Whaley to tie together the summer garden party feel.  Debby West with Think Floral created some gorgeous pieces that really brought lovely beauty to the space.  Chinese paper lanterns over the dance floor added a pop of color and texture above the space.

Lucas at Kickstand Studios captured every detail of this wedding, the images are so amazing ~ some of the images below are from Lucas and some are candid!!

Darren and I had the great pleasure of planning/coordinating a wedding this weekend in the most meaningful location for us.  Mary and Chris got married at Brookgreen Gardens- one of the loveliest spots in South Carolina- this location was so special due to the fact that Darren and I got married there almost 4 years ago.  We were honored and rather emotional to be in this location, watching this lovely couple start their married life together!!

Mary and Chris came to me to help them plan from West Virginia- they were so excited to plan in this gorgeous place- they knew they wanted to get married right in front of the wrought iron gates that symbolize Brookgreen Gardens and have their reception on the back lawn of the Russell Holliday Cottage!

The colors were rich and warm for this October wedding – just what we needed on this cool, rainy day.  Mary and Chris got their good luck rain for the day, but amazingly, the rain stopped about an our before the ceremony and we were able to change things over to make it happen just as they had dreamed!!!

Here are a few photos we took, of course candid however the photography was done by the unbelievably talented, Kim Graham.  The table centerpieces were created by Southern Stems.

Lanterns led the path to the gates for guests, the gorgeous ribbons were hand made by the bride’s mother.

Another ceremony shot- I just love the oaks trees!!!

The lovely couple!!!

One of the table set ups – they made table numbers with the gates on them.

The cake was by Incredible Edibles

I will add the invite and program later- they are so great but I don’t have a photo yet!
