This beautiful summer wedding was so bright, fun and exciting!  Rachel, Chris and their sweet families were amazing to work with ~

We added beautiful color to 701 Whaley to tie together the summer garden party feel.  Debby West with Think Floral created some gorgeous pieces that really brought lovely beauty to the space.  Chinese paper lanterns over the dance floor added a pop of color and texture above the space.

Lucas at Kickstand Studios captured every detail of this wedding, the images are so amazing ~ some of the images below are from Lucas and some are candid!!

This wedding was so special to all of us~ Rachel is one of the B.I.O. family so of course being able to help them make their day so special was an honor!  We truly felt like part of their families~ they welcomed us with open arms.

Rachel wanted her summer wedding to have bright, bold colors that popped in the beautiful 701 Whaley!  Ceremony was upstairs in the lovely Granby Room.  The emotion that came forward during the service moved us all ~ not a dry eye.

Rachel and Quinn selected great vendors that made a great team to bring all the details together ~ each detail was perfected and truly enjoyed by everyone.

Their lovely ceremony set up.

I love this moment…

Very sadly, Rachel’s brother is stationed overseas and could not make the wedding, but he was very close to her through the entire event~ Scott at American Floral made sure.

Room shot where you can see the vibrant blue draping and how it matched the bold floral design.

American Floral created both tall and low centerpieces that work great in this room!

Fun photos dressed the windows.

Great evening shot of our food display and florals.

Love the mint green cake ~ Carol of course did a beautiful job!!

In this you can see the light strands we did over the dance floor.

And I had to add this….I love her expression!!!  BEAUTIFUL!

This title is SO fitting for this couple and this day!!!  OH MY GOSH~ look at this gorgeous couple and their beautiful wedding!  It could not have been more perfect.

I absolutely loved working with them, their families and their friends ~ Brittany loved the  ‘billowy cloud’ feel in the flowers with touches of lace and elegance to tie the classic color palette together with texture.  Her stunning dress brought it all together with those amazing ruffles ~ a perfect match.

Their faith and love shown through in their looks between them, words spoken to each other and all the laughs they shared throughout the night.  During the planning process, Brittany ‘tweeted’ that I was her fairy godmother~ I don’t think I have ever had such a moment of glee :))

Some of these details have been favorites of mine!  I love the lace over lay for the cake table, so sweet and elegant!  I also absolutely love the ‘guestbook’ was a cook book from one of their favorite restaurants…and their gifts for bridal party were perfect, monogrammed jute bags and pocket knives…SO Southern!!!

Enjoy these amazing photos from Courtney Dox Photography~ they are stunning….

This has become a signature photo for 701 ~ but I just love how all the elements are perfect!!!

Their pretty programs.

Love these bags….I was honored to be given one by the couple as a thank you gift….I use it everyday!

These are SO cute!

Look at this beautiful bridal party!

Sexy getaway!

This wedding was so bright, exciting and full of fun!  The couple really wanted to incorporate a summer {garden} feel ~ so the bright colors were a beautiful base to begin.

They brought in the beautiful designs of Debby West and Think Floral to add that garden touch~ the topiaries with Gerber daisy, hydrangea and lemons were absolutely perfect.  All the colors were so vibrant and exhilarating.

Now you know the B.I.O. girls, we LOVE custom details…so when we started to see these fun touches come to life, the more excited we got (not that we weren’t already 🙂  From the most beautiful linen cake table runner to the oh so funny cake toppers, lemons and limes in the coffee table legs to the  color coordinated popcorn!!!!  Fabulous.

It was lovely to be able to work with the talented Lucas Brown, Kickstand Studio again~ he captured the amazing images below!!!

This was such a fun wedding! Jessica was one of the happiest bride’s I’ve ever seen – and that’s saying a lot! She and Billy and their families are so full of love and kindness and wanted to make sure that not only was it a special day for them, but a wonderful event for their guests as well.

The reception was at 701 Whaley, and the coral and apple green colors were perfect. We anchored the large space with black linens, so the bright colors could really pop. And Jessica really focused her flower budget on some “wow” pieces. Combined with the gorgeous food from Capital City Catering, the whole event was striking and fun.

But what made the reception really special were all the personal touches: from the cookie buffet with homemade treats from family and friends, to the basket of flip flops for dancing, and the adorable kids table to cater to all the little ones, they made sure everyone was attended to and included as part of the day.

Thanks to Landon Jacobs for the photos.

Shot of the reception in full swing. You can see the paper lanterns we hung over the dancefloor and the fabulous hanging floral piece from Something Special.

The Cookie Buffet! We found the perfect color ribbon and paper to bring in the coral and apple green.

Jessica is a teacher and a devoted aunt and wanted to make sure there was a fun kids table with food just for the little ones. A friend made the adorable sign and we had a blast creating decorations for the table.

We topped the guest tables with coral and apple green fabric woven around cylinder candles.

For the cake table, we layered one of our favorite linens – an ivory rosette – over coral and hung wrought iron lanterns above.

Melanie here… adding a shot Jill did not 🙂 but it is great….we created a photo booth and Lacy and Jill jumped in for a quick fun shot!

Love this shot!

I am not sure I can find the appropriate words to describe the beauty, elegance and grace of this wedding and reception!! Leigh Ellen, Crantson and Julie (mother of the bride) brought us some of the most amazing thoughts that they wanted to incorporate ~ so as we began developing these ideas with them, it took on a life of its own!!

Leigh Ellen knew in her mind what she wanted,  she supplied us with many photos and thoughts and we brought some really unique ideas to life…you will see them below.  Leigh Ellen’s vision was absolutely amazing and it made it so much fun and gave us a great challenge…which we LOVE!

All the details came together beautifully with excellent vendors:

Let’s look at the fabulous images!

Look at these beautiful women!  stunning!

Gorgeous ceremony at Trinity Episcopal!

What a beautiful, beautiful couple!!!

We draped the cocktail hour space with gold fabric and lighting…701 Whaley is just so lovely!

Seating card arrangement 🙂

Lovely family photos ~

Oh how I love this space….we added the beautiful white fabric and up lights to enhance this elegant evening!

Another angle~

…another angle.

The stairs ~

Head table ~ Jack’s china made every table so beautiful ~ Julianne’s did such an amazing job with beautiful baby’s breath arrangements!

So here is a great shot of the gold mylar chandelier B.I.O. created for the event~ it was so unique!!

Another shot of the head table and cake.  The lace topper on the cake table was the mother of the bride’s veil….and the floral cake stand was the perfect touch!!!

I just love the cute birds on top 🙂

Leigh Ellen found an image of paper flowers as a back drop for the band so she asked if we could create….and we did 🙂 we made them out of sheet music!

B.I.O. created the lovely menus with a ‘cobalt font’ to add in that beautiful color to the tables!!

….and a ‘sweet’ touch ~ the couple decided to give guests Krispy Kreme donuts…

And here are a couple of the B.I.O. girls (Ashley and Catherine) getting ready to serve donuts and shots of milk to guest~ they stopped to pose with Jack Brantley and Harriet!

And one last night-time shot!

What an amazing design this wedding turned out to be!!!  When Kim, and mother Karen, came to me to help bring their graphic and interior design background ideas together…I was hoping I could help enhance what was already in their minds with our experience~ but I truly never knew how spectacular all the details were going to be…they blew me away with their unique touches and creativity…but what should I expect from designers :-)))

Kim and Karen we so committed to some very, very special touches that they specifically wanted to create~ once created, we helped them incorporate them in to the gorgeous space at the Historic 701 Whaley Building ~ this wedding has been labeled ‘urban chic’!

The most amazing detail was of course the 1000 cranes that the bride folded herself…the tradition states that  you fold 1,000 cranes as a wish for a long and prosperous marriage, so she did!  It really was one of the most amazing details I think I have had the pleasure of experiencing in a wedding!  Her dedication was so heart warming, and they turned out gorgeous as an addition to the event itself.

We had the most amazing group of vendors to work with!!!!  Most of these really amazing images were capture by Brantley and Richard, All Dressed Up Photography

The always wonderful, super scrumptious food and bar were provided by Capital City Catering.  Lee Anne and I worked on this event closely to bring it together…we are a pretty good team in the design department 🙂

And many thanks to the Palmetto Party Rental crew!!!

Printed items designed and created by the bride herself ~ below is the program that I just love!

Close up of the custom made pillow covers and bouquet.

This almost life size portrait was just “WOW” ~ the drift wood floor piece was specifically collected for the reception, other pieces were used around the space as well.

Love, love the finger print guest book!!

We created a fun, unique ‘lounge space’ within 701 Whaley.

If you look through, you can see the lighted bar in the back by Capital City Catering, with B.I.O. bookcase back bar and more wood structures on top.

NOW….here is your frist glimpse of the cranes over the cake…she used part of them over and on the cake!

….and the main attraction….the breath-taking crane chandelier over the perfect white dance floor!

Nothing like having a lovely hanging floral design over your food station…now is there!?

The loveliest shot of the cranes on the cake and its own crane chandelier~

Menus 🙂

The cigar bar outside…of course…huge hit.

The couple gave beautiful custom etched glasses to their guests!

And this was awesome….thier signature drink used dry ice that was so much fun!

Again…was too neat and fun~ thank you for letting us be a part of your truley amazing day!

This was the performance of a lifetime for this couple…and they definitely brought the house down with their amazing ‘set design’ and cast of characters :-)…okay, I will stop with the ‘theater’ references but it was sooo neat that they incorporated their love for theater!

We worked with amazing talent again ~ it makes the event so complete and perfect, we know that it is going to be everything and more.  I have to first thank Brantley and Richard Freeman, All Dressed Up Photography ~ they once again have captured this most important day impeccably.   Thank you for sharing your amazing images!!!!  The floral design was created by American Floral, it added the most perfect pop of color and texture.  The yummy, yummy food was by Applause Catering and the beautiful cake is by Parties to Go ~ sweet and lovely as always 🙂

Kara and Matt selected the Historic 701 Whaley building as their backdrop for their ceremony and reception!  We set up one space for ceremony that was so unique~ we had a meandering aisle that was ‘topped’ with lovely lanterns.  Then over the couple, we created a fun arch of lanterns to ‘frame’ them~ the couple created a fabulous program in the form of a playbill!!!

(All Dressed Up Photography)

Lovely ceremony shot….(All Dressed Up Photography)

This is a candid shot from the back during the ceremony~

The reception was in the Grand Hall ~ we added romantic cafe lights over the dance floor.

Beautiful food and room image (All Dressed Up Photography)

The lounge area ~ we loved using our unique aqua vases for the glass coffee table!  (All Dressed Up Photography)

Now this was sooo neat~ for their guest book, the had guests write their messages on a card and pick out their own fabric square, then the mother of the bride transferred the messages to the squares and sewed them together to create a memorable quilt for the couple to enjoy forever!!! (All Dressed Up Photography)

AHHHH ~ CANDY! (All Dressed Up Photography)

I LOVE how they are so in to each other 🙂 and then you can see Kara’s parents in the background~ (All Dressed Up Photography)

All Dressed Up Photography!

I had to toss this in, right before ceremony when we were all sitting on ‘go’ 🙂 Love my girls!!!!
