Yes, you read that correctly- that is dutch for ‘Just Married’ 🙂

This couple was just beautiful- Erica is from Wisconsin and Jeroen is originally from Holland (hence the dutch title, he,he).  The met while she was on vacation in Aruba, where he was living and working.  It was a match just meant to happen.

The connection and love in this couple was phenomenal, the emotion was overwhelming to say the very least.

They wanted to pick a location ‘sort of’ in between their homes and had lovely weather for this time of year, hence they came across our lovely little town here in Columbia, South Carolina.  Erica and I worked together a lot via email and calls.  They were able to come to Columbia a few times and we had whirlwind meeting weekends I guess you could say!  Of course we handle many things for them since they were not hear all the time and kept them up to date on all the happenings…

They selected the lovely location of  Wintergreen Woods in Lexington have hold both the ceremony and reception. Casey and Dixie were just wonderful to work with- their honor of winning ‘Best of’ by The Knot is well deserved!!!!  They chose bright vibrant colors with a spring feel.

Flowers by Southern Stems– they were gorgeous creations.  Photography by Brooke Turner Photography– oh did she do an amazing job.  Cake by Parties to Go, Carol Sturkie.

Here is the slide show from Brooke…WOW:

Here are a few extra shots.

For that spring feel- they wrote their guests’ names on a sweet tulip and the color of tulip match the corresponding tulip on each table.

Each guest was treated to a homemade tulip cookie at their seat.

They wanted a candy bar to go with the Rice Crispy cake made by the bride- very special treat!

Pew markers with the programs in each seat, made by the bride!

I just had to steal this photo from Brooke Turner – just before Erica went down the aisle with her father, very moving moment!

Another photo I just had to have from Brooke 🙂

And the yummy cake and lovely bouquets!
