Hello everyone-  seems like it has been forever since I have posted, we have just been so busy then we have also taken a little time for ourselves 🙂

However, here we are, ready to share with you the beautiful event we were so lucky to have been a part of this past weekend-

Jennifer and Brandon chose Charleston, South Carolina (well Mt. Pleasant actually) for their gorgeous spring wedding.  They decided to get married at one of the most sought after venues around, Alhambra Hall.  It is just beautiful- sitting right there on the water.  They wanted an outdoor wedding close by the water and under the big oak trees, with a cocktail hour on the lawn.

The day began with the couples ‘good luck’ rain shower but by the time B.I.O. arrived at Alhambra, the sun was beginning to shine.  Our only small challenge for the day would be the famous Charleston breeze, but multiply it by 10- we had some fierce wind.  Yet I think we all would take the ‘breeze’ over the rain-

The day was spectacular-  the bride, a lovely, elegant, always together and organized woman had the VERY traditional butterflies- I love to see this, this is what it is ALL about.  I think the groom had them too but he would not admit it 🙂 he kept calm, cool and excited to see her and marry her!

Kim Graham was the professional photographer for their wedding.  Flowers By Frankie did the table centerpieces and bouquets/bouts.  Cake was created by Lady Fingers Confections.  Ceremony music was played by Chris Teves.  The band was Men of Distinction.  Catering by Cafe Catering.

I have included photos below, remember these are CANDID photos, we personally take them to share a few on the blog-

Here is the ceremony set up down next to the trees-

Flowers were in place at this point.

Closer shot of the tables –

The bride and groom placed photos of them along with family and friends on the mantel behind the head table.  The tables ‘numbers’ were actually landmarks in Charleston – the seating cards (seen below) of course had the guest’s name and what ‘landmark’ they would be sitting at.  The boxes for the seating cards were filed with real ‘Charleston beach sand and the cards stood up in them- it was lovely!

Their guest book was a Charleston coffee table book…

Just a quick photo of the bouquets before they got away 🙂

Just before Jennifer came down the aisle – you can see the baskets at the back of the set up- for the ceremony program, Jennifer wanted a fan in case it was warm, sadly I did not get to get a shot of this but they were in these baskets, they were to be on each chair for the guest but the wind would not allow it 🙂

And of course, her processional- due to the wind, we had to change things just a little, her father placed his arm around her to hold the veil while coming down the aisle- it worked out lovely!

All in all – it was just fabulous!!!!!
