He, he, I just love that ‘abbreviation’!!! And yep- it takes on a whole new meaning.
This weekend, we were so lucky to have participated in Jennifer and Patrick’s wedding. Jennifer is a very good friend of ours so it was so much fun to work and play at the same event
So to explain the title – Patrick Baxley asked Jennifer to marry him – hence the ‘PB&J’!
Jennifer and Patrick are the most fun, happy, easy going couple that I just LOVE working with- they had a very moving ceremony at Centennial ARP in downtown Columbia. Thirty guests were in attendance to the very intimate ceremony. Even though both of them are have very public lives, they kept the ceremony private with family.
The reception was a blast- the event was held at Wildewood Country Club. They used pink and chocolate brown as wedding colors.
Catering was by Carolina Cuisine, they did an AMAZING job!
Rehearsal dinner was held at 1425 Inn on Richland Street- great, great meal- wonderful place for a rehearsal dinner for about 40!!!!

Centennial is lovely- they decided they did not want to do a unity candle, so the couple had small bouquets made up for the families- Jennifer gave Patrick’s family two and then Patrick gave them to Jennifer’s family to represent the joining of families! They were accompanied by a beautiful framed photo of the couple.

Jennifer gave me three “B’s” to use… so we got creative!

A shot of one of the tables with the elegant monogrammed runners. You can see the cake in the background…

The ‘blue room’ – all the food tables!

Special request from Jennifer…the famous oyster shooter!

Their cute koozies with PB&J

My dear friend and one of our planners, Jill Areheart (best friend to the bride) made this AMAZING cake!!!!

Closer shot of the cake and flowers (created by us

One last moment together enjoying the band!

We are just a little behind so we are slowly getting caught up!!
We were so happy to have worked with Jennifer and Merrick. Their family and friends did so much for this event, it made it just breath taking and exactly what they wanted.
The ceremony took place at Rutledge Chapel on the USC Horseshoe. The reception was a Rockbridge Country Club.
Catering was by Anna Kline Catering- they just went above and beyond. The presentation was amazing and their food was fabulous- the service never missed a beat- we just loved working with them!
Partytime DJ- Dave Gilbert was the DJ and also took many of these photos below!
Flowers were created by the most talented Beth Estes, mother of the groom- and the cake was made by Jennifer’s brother-in-law. I told you- all in the family!!!!
The bride wanted to display gowns, photos, and other items from family members’ weddings so we set up the display below in the case Rockbridge has! She came to me with these items and I had one of my designers, Juli Blalock come create!

The gave Belgium chocolates as favors- they had been on a trip and had friends there that brought them to the states for them!!!

Jennifer had one of the neatest portraits I have seen!!!
